Cameron and Cindy Howell, through the Freedom In Jesus Initiative, minister with humility, biblical faithfulness, and a genuine reliance on the Holy Spirit. Having participated in Freedom Nights in their home—and having personally received deliverance myself—I have seen the care, wisdom, and compassion they bring as they walk with people toward freedom in Christ.

They also serve our church by helping our congregation learn how to walk more fully in the Spirit through their Life in the Spirit teaching. Cameron and Cindy minister together with unity and compassion, always keeping Jesus at the center and gently leading people toward true freedom in Him.

In a great effort of brevity, I will attempt to express my experience with this ministry in a short paragraph. Asking, Seeking, Knocking. I was desperate. My son passed away from diabetic ketoacidosis. I had gained 80 pounds. My husband almost divorced me. During the pandemic we moved and never found a new church home. I stopped praying because I somehow understood I never knew how. The Lord wasn’t who I thought He was, and I wasn’t who I thought I was as a daughter of the Most High. How could this all be happening? I was silent with the Lord. I could feel Him so close, but I chose not to speak to him. I just didn’t know what to say to Him anymore. This was my condition when I found Freedom in Jesus Initiative. I met with Cameron and Cindy in their home, a very reluctant husband in tow. After some difficult conversation and many tears, the Holy Spirit led them both, guiding me down a very peaceful and beautiful path of repentance, renouncing and breaking agreements both from my own choices and those of my ancestors. Then a simple, yet powerful prayer. I felt it. That warm, Holy Spirit fire, ever so gently filling the center of my body, and covering my head and shoulders. Then the shift came. My mind was my own again. I didn’t realize I had lost dominion, but now I could see. The lies, the veil of being lost and unloved, all exposed. My hope was renewed. This experience launched me down a path of healing, and an ever growing, deeply rooted relationship with the Lord. I’m learning how to trust the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and He is teaching me who I am. I am so grateful the Lord has given Cameron & Cindy the passion in their hearts to persevere and pursue their own callings. They are such beautiful examples of humility and greatness in the Lord! Thank you both!!

Ever since we had my spiritual cleansing it’s almost like chains have been broken and I’ve been set free from things that have had me in bondage for years. I no longer crave drinking alcohol. I just feel like there were demons in my life that no longer have control over me and never will again. I’ve been maintaining a solid relationship with the Lord asking for his guidance and protection against those demons every day and it works. The Lords hears my prayers everyday. Thank you for all you do to help people. It’s truly a life changing experience and I’m so thankful for you guys.

The first night I met with the Howells, I felt like my body was falling apart. I had been dealing with arthritis, celiac, anemia, and chronic migraines for ten years. Cameron and Cindy spoke words of life over me. That night, they led me to claim complete physical healing in the name of Jesus.

Since then, I’ve been pain free, and I’ve felt stronger than I had in years. There’s been a noticeable renewal in my spirit and a steadiness in my soul that I didn’t know was possible.

I’ve learned that healing is possible. Deliverance is possible. With God, all things are possible. We need only the confidence to ask and the faith to believe.

After meeting with Cameron & Cindy, my life changed. Before meeting with them, I had an idea of Jesus, I believed, but I realized that I didn’t have direct access to him, nor could I hear his voice clearly. I went from being terrorized in my dreams, my little ones screaming at night, and feeling like a shell of myself after having experienced evil from humans I never knew existed, to discovering my true identity in Christ. Before, I lived in fear and I trusted no one. I’ve learned how to access Gods wisdom directly through the Holy Spirit, I’ve had repair in relationships I didn’t think were possible and my ability to forgive has grown tremendously. Before I didn’t understand the salvation and deliverance process. Today, I understand fully what it means to deny myself and pick up the cross daily. I died spiritually and have been resurrected through Christ Jesus. Only through fully feeling his perfect Love and understanding his law was I able to love myself and other people even my ex-husband, who is facing life in prison for the harm he caused myself and my children. It’s been 2 1/2 years, my children are thriving and growing in Christ and I have remarried my best friend who loves me like Christ loves the church. I can do all things through Him and healing was possible for me even though my situation looked hopeless. Not only myself but also my husband, oldest daughter, step son, and dear friend have all experienced growth and the love of Jesus through the work of Freedom In Jesus Initiative.
